NCCE Inc. Update: Our COVID-19 Response

The New Canadians’ Centre of Excellence Inc. remains committed to meeting the essential settlement needs of newcomers to our community during these challenging and uncertain times. As COVID-19 continues to spread, we are implementing precautionary measures to support the health and safety of our Clients, Staff, Volunteers, their families and the broader community.

Guided by federal, provincial and local governments as well as public health officials, we will be making the following changes effective immediately and until further notice:

  • All of our locations (Main Site, Midtown, Windsor-West and Leamington) are closed and given school and library closures, no services will be provided in those locations either. Accordingly, all language classes, childcare, information sessions, group activities and meetings are cancelled.
  • Critical Settlement Services will continue to be provided via phone and email by NCCE Inc Staff who are working from home. To contact our Staff, please:
    • Call: (519) 258-4076
    • Email: services@ncce1.org, or
    • Fill out the Contact Us form on our website (www.ncceinc.org/contact-us) with details of your request and we will have a Staff Member contact you. Please provide a reasonable assessment on the urgency of your request as we will be managing high volumes during this time and ask for your patience.

We continue to closely monitor the situation and will communicate any further changes through signage at our locations and on our website (www.ncceeinc.org). Thank you for your patience and support. Please stay safe and healthy.
