Narrative: Youth Round Table Discussion(s) (RTD) are designed to establish a network of youth locally and across the province. Quarterly meetings focus on conversation and ideation around education trends via online and in-person learning with deeper concentration and consideration of newcomer youth concerns/issues – geared to creative reflection and exploration; broadening the scope of traditional and non-traditional learning tools and its impact on current and future education landscape; as well as IRCC funded youth programming. Quarterly reports are provided and reflect qualitative and quantitative data; quarterly agendas are set by VYAT, inclusive of communication/input provided by VYAT. The youth round table discussion is comprised of 30 youth; 5 youth for VYAT in addition to five youth per community (from London, Peel, Ottawa, Kitchener/Hamilton & Thunder Bay).
