Parent Learning Hour: Cultivating Empathy in Your Child

During this Parent Learning Hour, educators will define empathy in children as a skill which encourages children to consider others’ feelings, points of view, and perspectives. Parents will be given resources and tips about how to raise empathetic children who are emotionally aware and considerate of their peers. Parents and educators will have the opportunity to participate in a group discussion, and share their experiences. Educators will respond to any questions that parents may have, regarding this PLH session and the information provided.
