Immigrants With Occupation Related Knowledge (IWORK) Program for CONSTRUCTION

Join us for a 4-week virtual course for those looking to enter the construction industry. The course focuses on specific English language related to construction jobs, materials and equipment, job application and resume, interview tips, health and safety, WHMIS and the Employment Standards Act.

Upon successful completion, you will receive an IWORK for Construction Course Certificate and a WHMIS Certificate. The course will be followed with one-on-one job coaching, job leads and non-paid placement opportunities.

Enrollment Requirements: Must have a minimum of CLB 2 in Listening and Speaking

Eligibility: Permanent Residents, Protected Persons and Persons in Canada who have received initial approval of their application from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
