Employers who are small and medium-sized (SMEs) can hire new first-year apprentices at level 1 in 39 Red Seal trades while at the same time assisting these apprentices in acquiring the hands-on experiences required to establish a career in the skilled trades. In total, 39 Red Seal trades are eligible for Apprenticeship Service support.
